On-device voice agent for smart glasses. Gemma 4 + Cactus + Even Realities G2. Zero cloud — full inference loop runs on the wearable.
Built during the Cactus × Google DeepMind × Y Combinator hackathon, April 18–19 2026. The pitch: a voice agent that lives entirely on a pair of smart glasses, with no network round-trip. Latency target was sub-300ms end-to-end.
The hardware is Even Realities G2, the inference engine is Cactus (low-latency on-device), and the model is Gemma 4 E4B with the audio encoder. Zero data leaves the device.
